Abstract
ABSTRACT The present investigation reports the adsorption of zinc & cadmium on silica surface chemically modified with linear poly (amido amine) a water-soluble polymer. The material is characterized by FTIR spectroscopy & Elemental Analyzer. The efficiency of metal binding of the adsorbent for Cd2+ and Zn2+ have been studied in aqueous solutions of corresponding metal ions. The results showed a valuable aspect of increasing trend.
